Why Locked In Pitching
Most programs guess. We measure. Every athlete gets a full biomechanical assessment, data-driven programming, and ongoing analysis — so your development is never left to chance.
High-speed video and motion capture break down your mechanics frame by frame. We identify inefficiencies invisible to the naked eye and build a roadmap to fix them.
Every session is tracked. Velocity, spin rate, arm path, and workload metrics are logged and reviewed so your program evolves with your progress.
No cookie-cutter drills. Your program is built around your body, your goals, and your timeline. One-on-one attention from coaches who've developed pitchers at every level.
Structured intent training, weighted ball protocols, and strength integration designed to add real, sustainable velocity — not just short-term spikes.
Performance means nothing without durability. Every program includes workload management, recovery protocols, and injury-prevention screening built into the foundation.
From youth athletes to college and pro prospects, our athletes consistently hit new velocity PRs, improve command, and earn roster spots at the next level.

Our Story
Locked'n Pitching was founded on a simple belief: every pitcher deserves a program built around their body, not a template. Too many athletes plateau because they're following generic advice that was never designed for them.
Locked In Pitching combines the latest sports science — biomechanics, motor learning, and strength physiology — with elite coaching experience to create programs that actually move the needle.
We've worked with athletes from youth travel ball all the way to professional prospects. The methodology scales. The results speak for themselves.
Our staff holds certifications in biomechanics, strength & conditioning, and sports performance — not just playing experience.
We track everything. You'll always know exactly where you stand and what's driving your improvement.
We're not a one-and-done assessment. We're your development partner for the long haul — from first session to signing day.

Professional Pitcher
Jacob Gomez is a professional pitcher who brings real, lived experience at the highest levels of the game to every athlete he works with. A Rutherford, NJ native, Jacob dominated at every level before signing professionally — and now channels that knowledge into developing the next generation of pitchers.
He believes every athlete starts from the same fundamental skill set — it's the path each pitcher takes to sharpen and apply those skills that's different. That philosophy shapes how he coaches: building on what makes each athlete unique rather than forcing everyone through the same mold.

He holds a Ph.D. in Biobehavioral Kinesiology from the University of Illinois, along with a B.S. and M.S. in Sports Science from the United States Sports University. His research centers on the intersection of exercise, cognition, and psychological factors, with multiple publications and conference presentations. Division I Catcher
Alex Gomez is a catcher who has played at every level of competitive baseball, from a decorated four-year career at Rutherford High School to Division I baseball at Old Dominion University and William Paterson University. A Rutherford, NJ native and brother of fellow Locked In Pitching coach Jacob Gomez, Alex brings a catcher's eye for detail to everything he coaches.
Along the way, Alex has battled through his share of injuries — and rather than letting that slow him down, he's turned the recovery process itself into one of his greatest tools, helping the athletes he works with come back stronger, smarter, and more prepared than before. Still chasing his own dream in the game, he's learned to recognize that same fight in every athlete who walks through the door, and meets them there.

Professional Pitcher
Breyln Jones is a professional pitcher who brings firsthand experience from affiliated and independent professional baseball to every athlete he coaches. A Rutherford, NJ native, Breyln was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers before continuing his professional career through the Frontier League and beyond.
He believes real development happens when an athlete works it out for himself rather than being handed the answer. Instead of just telling a pitcher what to fix, Breyln works alongside him — asking the right questions and guiding the process — so the athlete builds the awareness to recognize and correct it on his own.
Career Highlights
Los Angeles Dodgers Organization
Drafted 29th Round (881st overall), 2019 · ACL Dodgers · Signed out of Rutherford High School

Professional Pitcher
Durbin Feltman is a longtime professional pitcher with extensive Triple-A experience. A TCU All-American and Boston Red Sox 3rd-round draft pick, he has thrown as hard as 100 mph and has learned from a wide range of coaches, pitching coordinators, strength staffs, and player-development systems throughout his career.
Durbin's coaching philosophy centers on developing the athlete first, then building a strong, repeatable throw before ever worrying about pitches. He believes in establishing a foundation of athleticism, movement, and strength before layering in pitch design, command, and sequencing — and wants every athlete to understand not just what they're doing, but why, so they can take ownership of their own development and keep improving on their own.
